Students will look forward to sitting in an area that allows them to enjoy their favorite new book, traveling off to far away places. During teacher read aloud or independent reading time, students will have the choice to sit on a comfy bench, at a small table, or on homemade seats made out of crates and pillows. Surely reading time will soon become an all time favorite in their school day, which will lead them to become avid readers. Cozy, comforting, a home away from home setting! What could be better than being able to choose where to read rather than being told? Imagine being at a favorite park reading on a bench, or sitting in that "cool" area at Barnes and Noble. Reading is the foundation to all learning! Your donation will help build that love of reading in so many young children for years and years to come, which will then in turn transfer to a love of learning.

About my class
