The games that I have chosen for my classroom are at a level that my English Language Learners, my EC students and AIG students can work together to compete and feel included. They are able to be worked in to brain breaks and require little set up time, meaning more time for instruction and project based learning. From day one, these games will allow my students to get to know each other, make friends and engage socially with peers who are unlike themselves. The diversity in my classroom is incredible, games are one of the best ways to bring a group together. I have a few students who need flexible seating to wobble while they learn and play in order for them to succeed. The dry erase contact paper is to cover their tables and score sheets for written game play.
