My classroom has 42 feet of windows, and on sunny days the room becomes a greenhouse with unbearable temperatures. Students are frequently so uncomfortable that they can not focus on their work. The direct sunlight makes it difficult to see the images from our projector or even the monitors of their computers. Our school is not air conditioned, renovations were cancelled, and a new building is years away from being planned. This projects focuses on what can be done now. Avoiding direct sunlight will keep the classroom cooler and let the students focus on the work in front of them.
