When sixth graders try to work together we always run into space problems with our desk. It's important for 6th graders to work in groups of two or four using science tables. Using manipulatives is a great way for students to make everyday connections. Tables will allow for a large flat surface with the area needed to experiment when participating in academics. From science to math, group work is essential in 6th grade for the social development of young minds. In our room tables will allow for more room and for students to have the chance to work with others.
