Because of you, my students are learning through meaningful, hands-on experiences that build critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.\r\n\r\nThe filament you donated has allowed students to use Tinkercad to design and create their own products. Through this technology, students are able to plan, test, revise, and improve their ideas. Seeing their digital designs turn into real, printed objects helps students make connections between abstract concepts and real-world applications.\r\n\r\nThe Sphero mats and Sphero BOLT robots have transformed how students learn coding. The mats provide clear visual goals, allowing students to program their robots to move to specific locations. This hands-on coding experience helps students understand sequencing, angles, and distance, while encouraging collaboration and problem-solving in an engaging way.\r\n\r\nThe charging unit for the Sphero cars has also greatly improved learning time in our classroom. Because all of the robots can be charged at once, students are able to use the technology more consistently and efficiently without delays. This means more time spent learning and experimenting. \r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, technology is no longer something students just observe—it is something they actively use to design, create, and problem-solve. Your support has made learning more engaging, accessible, and impactful for every student. Thank you for investing in tomorrow's leaders.","fullyFundedDate":1763577291290,"projectUrl":"project/sparking-imagination-through-robotics-an/9883128/","projectTitle":"Sparking Imagination Through Robotics and 3D Design","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Walling","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1226821"},{"teacherId":1226821,"projectId":9330637,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donations of Sphero Bolts, Sphero Cars, and headphones to our classroom. Your support has truly made a difference in the way our students learn and engage with technology.\r\n\r\nThese tools are very special in the classroom because of how they transform learning into an interactive, hands-on experience. The Sphero Bolts and Cars allow students to explore coding and problem-solving in a fun way. Instead of just reading about programming, they get to see their code come to life as their Sphero moves, lights up, plays music, and reacts in real time. The headphones have also been an incredible addition, helping students focus during independent learning and allowing them to work at their own pace without distractions.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for the students has been the opportunity to create. They love experimenting with the Spheros to design obstacle courses, race tracks, and coding challenges. It's amazing to watch their collaboration and creativity grow with every new idea they test out.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has sparked not only learning but also joy and discovery in our classroom. We have used the filament for various things and it has gotten great use!\r\n\r\nThe first thing we have used the filament for was for students to design their own projects. Some of these creations were fidget spinners and mazes! Through trial and error students had to problem solve to ensure that their projects printed correctly. \r\n\r\nWe also used the filament to create prizes for students who were making a positive impact on our school. Students were able to choose from items like flexi sharks and snakes, to mini fidgets. \r\n\r\nLastly, students worked with me to print fidgets that they were able to use in their classroom or in my office to help calm them down. We worked together on design, color choice, size, etc. and they were always so excited to \"crack\" the printer plate to release their fidget. \r\n\r\nYou are all very appreciated!","fullyFundedDate":1743789797853,"projectUrl":"project/3d-printing-their-ideas-to-life/9221631/","projectTitle":"3d Printing Their Ideas to Life!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Randall","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5402773_orig.png?crop=412,412,x31,y60&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1743522530080","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5402773"},{"teacherId":1226821,"projectId":9172757,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your incredible support in providing our classroom with a 3D printer. This technology has transformed our learning experience in ways I never imagined possible.\r\n\r\nOne of our most engaging projects has been designing marble mazes using Tinkercad. Students were challenged to create 3×3 inch mazes with multiple turns and at least one dead end. What's truly remarkable is how this technology transcended language barriers. Even students who are English language learners were able to successfully design and create their unique mazes.\r\n\r\nThe most magical moment is watching students' faces light up when they see their digital designs come to life through 3D printing. They've quickly learned complex design skills, demonstrating remarkable creativity and problem-solving abilities. I can already envision some of these students pursuing careers in engineering and design.\r\n\r\nThis 3D printer has become more than just a piece of technology - it's a gateway to innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning. Your generosity has opened up a world of possibilities for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1742502577517,"projectUrl":"project/bringing-learning-to-life/9172757/","projectTitle":"Bringing Learning to Life","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Walling","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1226821"},{"teacherId":10002814,"projectId":9262736,"letterContent":"I want to first start by thanking each and one of you for donating to my classroom!
