The supplies requested for my classroom already have spots waiting on them! Having a classroom carpet with rows of squares will not only enhance learning times by giving us a place to gather together, but it will minimize disruptions. Each square will give students their area to sit without getting in another child's space. Enhancing students reading skills is so very important to the progress of their education and having a bookshelf will give them a place from which to choose a book during their reading center. It will also be the anchor for a reading area in the classroom where they can sit, relax and focus on reading their books.
