The seating options that I am requesting will give my students the opportunity to take on some responsibility in their educational choices. Research has shown that students given voice and some control do engage more in the educational process and behavior issues can decrease. My Kindergarten students are the Class of 2031. In hopes of helping them to build their own voice and make choices that will inspire them to do their best work, I ask for help providing them with this opportunity to learn to make beneficial choices. I am also hopeful that their love of their current classroom will create an association of positive feelings of education and love.
