Removing attendance barriers from students significantly increases academics, self-esteem, peer relationships, and future success. Some students may just simply need an alarm clock to get them awake, and others may need an incentive to look forward to. Others may need a morning snack because it was not available at home and they were a little too late for breakfast. When a student receives an attendance achievement award it shows that their efforts in coming every day despite their barriers at home were definitely noticed. By donating to my project you will help me in supporting our students in overcoming attendance barriers, cleaning up truant students attendance, preventing absences and tardies, and rewarding them for their efforts in coming every day. The snacks will be used for attendance parties when goals are met. The bubbles and chalk will be used for attendance incentive parties. Having a set goal for them to reach and look forward to such as "one month of perfect attendance earns Bubble Party" makes a huge difference than just asking them to come everyday. The charts, and stickers will be used for them to track their own progress!
