I work at a city-charter school. We are developing a fine arts program that serves the students in our district. The school community has to sacrifice a lot financially to make this happen. Our students deserve to experience the arts as well as traditional school experiences. My school services sixth through twelfth grade. Most of my students come from impoverished neighborhoods.
