Students learn best with hands-on activities and experiences. These materials, including the Ramps & Balls Exploration Set and Magna-Tiles, will help engage my students in their learning and will increase their ability to make meaningful connects between school and the community they live in. I am a new teacher who has limited access to high engagement teaching resources. My goal is to have more variety for my students in order to keep them excited and eager to engage in their learning. Currently, my students do not have access to social emotional materials, community helpers, or any meaningful STEM learning manipulatives. The items listed in my project will help me to create a more hands-on learning environment for my little learners.
