My classroom environment is a place where students should feel home. These vibrant blue rugs will add a place for students to stretch out, sit or curl up to read and work. Students should be given the opportunity to enjoy reading with good books and a special place to relax. That's why the first rug will be kept in our classroom library. The second rug will add a place for my class to sit and share thoughts and ideas during our whole group lessons for all subject areas. It will give them a comfortable spot to enjoy a story, share ideas and focus on their learning at the front of the classroom. Both rugs will give the students extra designated areas to sit and work during math and reading centers as well. These rugs will have a positive impact on student learning and the classroom environment.
