I want my love of books to be transferred to my students. Creating a literate classroom with inspiring books will help the students become lifelong readers. Books in the classroom are a necessity. Duck for President could inspire one of my student to run for president in the future. I am especially looking forward to sharing "The Camping Trip that Changed America: Theodore Roosevelt, John Muir, and Our National Parks." Sounds like it will foster a love of national parks as well. "Characters Facing Challenges" is the second group of book that will also inspire students to become better citizens.
