This year, I am centering my classroom around the idea that "Readers are Leaders (and Leaders are Readers)." I'm hoping for major growth in my students' reading abilities, but importantly, I hope to guide students toward books that capture their attention, ignite their curiosity of the world, honor bilingualism, and foster a love of books. And how do I accomplish this? WITH BOOKS! So, please consider helping me and my wonderful students in creating AN EPIC BILINGUAL CLASSROOM LIBRARY! Your donation will help put some much-desired books in the hands of kids who often ask me, "Do you have any Harry Potter books, Mr. L?" To which I would glumly respond, "Not yet..." LET'S CHANGE THAT! Let's get some amazing books in the hands of the most deserving kids in the world. We really appreciate it! :-)
