For our project, we would like to purchase 20 Discraft Ultra-Star discs so the students can learn and practice skills needed for the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. We want to give all students the opportunity to become more physically fit, experience what good sportsmanship is, and have fun playing Ultimate Frisbee! Becoming more physically active is so important in the lives of these kids, and just as important is learning the importance of good sportsmanship - which is huge in the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. Not only will playing Ultimate Frisbee affect these kids, but they can also teach and get their families involved, so this project will not only make a difference with the kids at school, but can get the whole family up and moving!
