These books will help water the plants for reading in each one of my students. My classroom library will be a place where my students will learn about new people, places, ideas, take many adventures and grow a love and passion for books. Our classroom library plays an important role in our ELA block. The book I have the choice are ones that will keep spark students interest in reading and keep them engaged in their books. This will make independent reading an enjoyable time for all students. Classroom libraries are key to providing access to books which promote literacy. Classroom libraries have the potential to increase student motivation, engagement, and achievement and help students become critical thinkers, analytical readers, and informed citizens. With these new books, students will be able to expand their reading, their interest, and their horizons.
