My first grade students are curious and hard working. They are very active in the classroom. I find that it is challenging for them to sit still on a hard chair and listen to a lesson. Students enjoy working with others during math and reading stations. They are at different skill levels academically. Some students are reading above grade level, on grade level and some need more one-on-one assistance with a teacher.
