I didn't realize how badly we needed new writing boards until we got the new ones. We use our new boards for writing multiple times a week during centers to practice writing our letter of the week and our names. These boards are great because they come with letter cards of upper and lowercase so the students can have a visual model when they are writing. The pen is also so great it has grooves in it for their fingers and they are able to write so easily with them. \r\n When the students first saw the new writing boards they were very excited. They all commented on how easy they were to use compared to our old ones. And each week when they get to use them they are always enthusiastic about it. We will continue to use these boards throughout the year to practice letter formation and these boards will help us immensely.
