These amazing picture books with a rich variety of text and incredible illustrations will help me teach my students a love of great literature. Our classroom library will benefit from these wonderful books of many different genres to reach my students. I will use them to teach our literature and writing lessons each week, as well as having them available in our classroom library for students to read over and over again, independently and with peers. Through interactive literature lessons, students will connect with the stories and universal themes in these wonderful selections. I believe lives can be touched through literature, and my students are no exception. Many find themselves, or friends they will remember for the rest of their lives, in the characters of a treasured book.
