The students in my classroom are fun loving, enthusiastic, creative, and energetic. They need movement and change to keep them focused. Our school is accepting of everyone and their learning style. We want to be a 21st century school. 21st-century schools use flexible seating. Flexible seating has already benefited my students learning. Now I would like to extend it even further with wobbly chairs and floor seating. Flexible seating encourages collaboration and communication within the classroom environment. Kids work harder and are more successful when the learning is fun and the room is comfortable. Think about how you work best. Is it in a hard chair at a normal desk?
