All students have the right to receive all the necessary supports in order to obtain a great education. Although a simple pencil and notebook may not seem like big expenses, some students struggle to get to school with these basic items. These items are included on our list. Items like pencils, graph paper, and glues sticks are needed on a daily basis. My students enjoy creating interactive notebooks to help gain an understanding of the content, and should not have to feel shame or stress to come to class without the expected materials. Copy paper, expo markers, stop watches and index cards are needed for student projects, interactive notebooks, and class activities. My students are bright, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. These simple items will help my students feel successful in our class and compete with upper class schools in our area. Thank you for supporting our students and our future!
