I teach fourth grade all subjects. My desire would be to obtain quality reading material that would foster the love of reading. This would allow me to utilize a class set of books that students could read and respond to in writing, using a graphic organizer I created that focuses on reading comprehension, making connections to the plot and characters, making predictions, increasing vocabulary and expressing opinions. When I moved to Arizona from Nebraska, I realized how few resources there are for teachers as compared to my previous teaching in Omaha. The resources are greatly needed and invaluable to increasing reading scores, however I cannot purchase them myself. Please help me to help my students develop the love of reading novels.
