While we’re engaged in distance learning, the books will be used as part of our weekly lessons building on social-emotional competencies, focused particularly on positive identity development and growth mindset. In addition to the books I’m requesting, I hope to create a lending library of learning toys that can be checked out by students and families during COVID and beyond. Students who may struggle with traditional learning opportunities often thrive with self-directed hands-on learning, growing their sense of competency and flexibility in thinking. I intend to maintain and grow this lending library for the purpose of promoting positive identity development and a growth mindset. Thank you for your support!
