Magic Tree House books are great for second grade students. They learn about friendship, history, courage, and compassion as they go on adventures with Jack and Annie. This project will allow each student to have a book in their hand as we read together as a class. It is essential for young students to listen to reading while following along so that they can see what it sounds like to be an active reader. Being able to read an entire chapter book is extremely exciting to a second grader, and with this project, we can achieve that goal as a team. As we move from one book to the next students will gain confidence, increase their reading capabilities, and feel accomplished.
