Through interactive media, sculpture, videography, and exhibits students will experience a compelling lesson on the Jim Crown South and the nations prison system. At the Legacy Museum students will be exposed to visuals and data-rich exhibits, while engaging in a one-of-a-kind opportunity to investigate the history and legacy of race in America. At the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, students will learn the stories of the men, women, and children whose lives were forever changed because of racial terrorism and injustice in our nation. Students will walk the six-acre site overlooking Montgomery and will have an opportunity to reflect on race in America and its legacy.
