Many of the students do not have the opportunity to interact with age appropriate peers in social settings. Our classroom creates an environment where peers can interact appropriately with one another with teacher guidance. I am asking for various age appropriate Board Games: such as Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Operation, and Perfection to work on social skills. The skills include waiting one's turn, sharing, winning with grace, and losing with pride. We take for granted that these once household items are in each kids reach, yet with our ever changing society much of these games are strangers to the new generation of students.

About my class
