Transitional Kindergarten students may have a difficulty sitting for any amount of time. Flexible seating will allow some of my anxious students to participate in our learning activities with more ease. The chairs will also be helpful to any students that are newly diagnosed with ADHD. Allowing them the ability to use flexible seating will encourage those students to be ready to learn on a daily basis. A new rug will give my little ones a special place to sit together for our morning meetings and listen to stories that I read them every day. The time that we spend on the rug is very meaningful, and to have a new enjoyable spot to do so will make all of us feel comfortable. The donations for our classroom will benefit all of my students now and in the future. By implementing the flexible seating and a new rug, it will help my students by easing anxiety and give them the comfort to learn.
