A new classroom carpet will give my First Graders a comfy place to come together each day. My students would love a place of their own while they take on the learning challenges of First Grade. We work on whole group lessons and students spend a great deal of time working independently on the floor. We begin each of our school days on the floor, building our classroom community. We share all the successes and how we can develop areas of concern. Having this new classroom rug will help my students feel comfortable and stay focused on what they are learning.
