My students are amazing 2nd graders from an urban area. They come from a huge diverse background of families and all have the same goal, which is to come to school to learn! They learn how to come together everyday and respect each other. We have about 86% part of the free lunch program and some of our students receive extra care and attention. Our classroom is a close community that strives to learn about the differences in each other and come together despite those differences. My students deserve to have engaging and fun ways to learn through a variety of resources. They are learning how to collaborate and work together through problem solving so I want to provide them with all the best tools. Our Project: We would like to buy a kit from a resource called Breakout EDU. The kit costs $150 and comes with a kit. Thank you for your time, caring and giving back to our community! It will mean so much to our class.
