My students already love to read. They enjoy losing themselves in an adventure. At this age, my students are truly reading to learn and this project will widen the genres and types of books available to my students. They gravitate towards graphic novels and historical fiction. Reading stories about historical events always amazes them and they constantly ask for more! Reading plays such a vital role in education. Finding books that pique their curiosity and hold their interest can be a challenge for young readers. Providing these books (and bins) to my students will not only help them grow as readers but also supply my students with a wealth of background knowledge.

About my class
