The use of the meeting area in my classroom is part of every day. The students sit in the meeting area for a small portion of almost every lesson to set them on the right path. A classroom rug will give each child a comfortable place to sit other than on the tile floor. By donating to this project, you will not only be increasing the focus and attention of each student in the class but a classroom rug will increase each child's academic achievement. Students will each have their own space to sit that is well defined which will alleviate student concern for personal space as well as help the "wiggly" students find a good comfy spot to sit.
