Students will have time in their day to move about the classroom and take advantage of this flexible seating option. Students will be in rotating reading groups and will all be able to sit in the bean bag chairs each day. When students are comfortable, so much beautiful learning can take place. I also believe that every classroom needs a safe space or calming zone. I could designate one of these chairs as the safe space for when kids need a break. I could fill this space with other calming devices such as stress balls, weighted blankets, and stress coloring books.

About my class
