Welcome to our classroom! I teach a K–3 special education resource room, where every day is about meeting students where they are and helping them grow. My classroom is a safe, supportive space where students learn at their own pace and in their own way. We focus on building foundational skills in reading, writing, and math, while also supporting social-emotional growth. Some of my students are learning how to read for the very first time, while others are working on strategies to regulate their emotions so they can be successful in the classroom. Our classroom is unique because no two days look exactly alike. Some students need extra time, movement breaks, or hands-on tools to help them focus and learn. I believe that every child is capable of growth, and I work hard to create lessons and activities that meet their diverse needs while keeping learning fun and engaging.
