I am a first year teacher building my classroom and look forward to seeing this quiet, empty room be busy and full of students discussing and learning. I want my students to be able to have many different ways to interact with the learning. Building letters and words with magnets and play doh reinforces and allows students to “play” while they continue to improve their skills. Your donation makes a difference in our world! Students learn more when they are having fun and by including these tools into our lessons, we will spend our days building life long knowledge. We will use the play-dough to form letters and words to build knowledge through play. Forming the letters and words with the different mediums allows students to feel the letters while they see them. The alphabet sounds teaching tubs will be a great resource during small group instruction. Wobble seats are an excellent way for kids to have flexible seating and to get their wiggles out while staying in their seats. I appreciate anything that you are willing to donate to my class while I do my best to create a love for learning with my young students each year!
