The games I have selected will be engaging to my 2nd graders. They will be able to create and explore in artistic ways with LEGO bricks and the Spirograph. They will also be able to play cooperatively with partners or in small groups with cards and board games. Toss Across and bowling will allow them opportunities for gross motor movements while in the confines of our classroom. When it's raining outside and we have to have indoor recess, students always ask, "What can we do?" The games on my wish list will provide students with a variety of options for thinking, sharing, taking turns, and most importantly, having fun!
