I have chosen hands-on language and math games and activities to place in my centers. Language activities include magnetic letter blocks, sight word puzzles and letter cubes. The math activities include number houses, magnetic numbers and money puzzles. These will enable my students to explore concepts such as letters, sounds, sight words, numbers and operations through collaborative learning with their classmates. I have also chosen materials such as building bricks to place in STEM bins. STEM bins will be used in the morning for students to explore their scientific and engineering side and build things out of different materials. I can’t wait to see the creative juices flow! These materials will help all of my students show a significant amount of progress in their learning!
