As you can imagine, noise can often prohibit learning in a classroom with 20+ excited 6 and 7-year-old students, leaving many students frustrated. The QBall and Headphones will allow all students to focus on learning and become better listeners and speakers. Students will be simply dying to have a turn to share their thinking using this throwable microphone. Students will have an opportunity to read their writing, explain their math thinking or discuss stories we have read with the whole class as well as better focus during technology lessons with our online reading and math curriculum. With your help, my students will be able to develop their active listening and public speaking skills all while having fun throwing a ball to their friends in the classroom! Nobody should have to say "I couldn't hear" anymore! When more students are actively involved in learning, our classroom will become more collaborative and we will learn more from each other. Most importantly, students will know that their voice matters!
