I am seeking to secure enough copies of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe so that the entire 5th grade team can read the novel at the same time and every student has a copy of the book to read from. When students have their own copy of a novel they are able to use sticky notes to make annotations during reading which is a powerful skill. By having the entire 5th grade team read the book at the same time we are aiming to have students across classes talking about the book during shared time such as recess or walking to and from school.

About my class
