This book, "Your Inner Fish A Journey into the 3.5-billion-Year History of the Human Body" is the first in a series of reading assignments that will be assigned to the students over the course of the year. It will serve as both an introductory and ongoing reading resource that will provide the students additional perspectives that they may utilize to grasp a better understanding of the complexity and interdependence of living things. The book will also provide the students a common and shared reference regarding the macro to micro perspective of evolution that will enable them to engage in discussions and debate in respect to the basic and fundamental concepts on which biological sciences are based.
