The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The incubator is the perfect one to hatch chicken eggs. It comes with an egg turner which will save time in the classroom. The brooder, heat lamp, waterer, and the feeder is everything that is needed to house the chicks as soon as they hatch. All of these donations will ensure we have the proper materials to create a welcoming and warm environment for the chickens from start to finish.
The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of the life cycle and the importance of taking care of our planet, creatures and all!
By implementing the incubation experience for my students will provide them an understanding of our world as a place where we all need to be involved in maintaining it. Bringing chickens to our school will help the students connect with wildlife and will help them understand how important life cycles are in our world. We will use these materials to aid us in the process of becoming life-long learners. As the teacher, I have done extensive research and reading on incubating eggs in elementary school. Yet I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
