Kinesthetic students benefit greatly from being able to move while they work. Having multiple seating choices will allow students to select their own best option to focus throughout the day. By donating to my project, you will help improve and increase student attention and focus and ultimately help increase their academic achievement. Wiggle stools and wiggle cushions allow students to move as they work at their desks or at my group teaching tables, helping kinesthetic learners to concentrate and focus on their tasks. The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and will give students a comfortable floor space to work and use lap desk trays. Since each dot is large enough for one of my second grade students to sit on, it will also be used as a gathering space for mini-lessons, giving each student a personal space for group time. Having seating choice will enhance my students’ focus, success, and enjoyment of school. I want all of my students to love learning and providing optional seating choices will help me achieve this goal!
