My students come from a low-income area, and the population is 99% minority. The school has struggled with academics, but worked really hard the past two years to achieve Reading and Math gains! My students have limited access to materials due to budget cuts. I want them to be able to have sculptural experiences in the Art Room and incorporate their parents into our projects as well. The title of my grant is called "Making Clay Memories-Together".
