These materials will help students with their writing assignments that are going to be done in class. Each week we will be brainstorming, editing, drafting, and revising. It will be great for students to have the supplies that they need readily available to them! We are currently reading The Crossover by Kwame Alexander then we will be venturing in the world of Shakespeare and reading A Midsummer Night's Dream. Before the holiday break, students will complete their high school admission essays as well. This year we are focusing on the power of storytelling and the ways in which we can strive to build a strong community while sharing stories. Their writing and reading activities will be at the center of this, and all of these supplies will help our classroom out tremendously!
