My goal is to acquire more computers for students to use in my classroom. I need any support I can get with funding. These computers will be closely monitored to ensure students use them respectfully and so that they can last for years to come. I teach 25-28 students in my homeroom 5th grade class, and 20-25 students in my math class. These students would benefit greatly from having technology as a resource to enhance their learning, support research and writing skills, and to practice necessary fundamental skills in a fun and engaging way. It's important to "meet kids where they're at", and having computers available for them to use allows me to find real world ways to differentiate and enhance their learning.
