The carefully selected materials for this project will enable my scholars to be able to integrate Science and Math into their interactive community garden. The Gourmet Schoolyard Composter will be used to create compost to use in the garden. All the scholars from K-7 will learn how to use the composter, learn the purpose of the composter and how it will benefit our community garden. The entire Community Garden project integrates Science and Mathematics, this project will be an important educational benefit for all the scholars involved from grades K-7. All of the selected materials are a necessity to make our Community Garden viable and successful for our scholars and the community.
