1ST CHOICE - JOURNEY KINDERGARTEN FLIPCHARTS BY HOUGHTON COURT is a necessity needed in my classroom. My students love rug time. When it is time for storytime, we do not have a flipchart to go along with each weekly story. It is time-consuming to have to make a flipchart large enough for the easel every week. If my class is fortunate to get a flipchart set, our class flow will be much easier. Donating to our project, you will not only help to improve students' phonics skills but also help students to be motivated and eager to learn. I have no doubt the end results will ultimately help increase their academic skills. 2nd CHOICE - The LISTENING CENTER is a daily activity in my classroom use in centers. Using the listening center increases sound recognition and is also designed to provide appropriate materials to help students work independently or collaboratively (with partners or in small groups) to meet literacy goals guided practice and to record modeled strategies. By having a Listening center, students will be able to grasp the concepts of phonics and as a result, it can increase their learning skills!
