Our school was built in 1965 and this year we are getting new tile floors! Area rugs will be used to provide comfortable work spaces for the students to work independently or in small groups. The area rugs will designate a space for students to work while in reading and math centers. The scattered book area rug would be great for students in the reading center. First graders love to work with a partner or in small groups. Students need space to spread out and work. These area rugs will help provide a colorful, fun, and safe learning environment for my 1st graders!
