Teaching kindergarten is truly the most amazing thing one can do! In September these young learners enter our rooms, and by June they leave as independent readers and writers. They grow SO much in such a little amount of time, and they are exposed to so much new learning material. I strongly believe that kindergarten is the foundation to every child’s future, and it is so important that during this year, they fall in love with learning. Kindergarten is crucial in so many ways, and setting that good foundation is critical. Keeping our students engaged in learning is such an important thing; and utilizing technology would help us so much. Technology is a huge part of our world right now, and being that kindergarten is a very hands on grade level; we are asking for a set of iPads to utilize during centers! The options on how I will use them are endless. From word work stations with QR code’s, phonics apps, reading apps, social and emotional learning apps, the options are endless. I would love to be able to have these for my kids to use this upcoming school year, and really take their learning to the next level. I truly love my job more that I could ever express. They said that when you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life....and that couldn’t ring more true. I don’t like asking for things, but I truly believe these would be so beneficial for my kiddos.
