My students will use Kindles to read online materials related to our coursework. They will also be able to interact with educational games and have a chance to navigate a tablet. These students do not have a lot of experience with Internet researching, which will also be happening with these Kindles. I want them to experience the joys of technology while continuing their coursework. Your donations will change my students current opportunities for meaningful engaged learning! Most of them do not have access to technology resources of their own, and their interactions with technology are very limited. They love technology and giving them a chance to work with and manipulate Kindles will provide a learning opportunity that most of them do not often have. Currently, our school shares 2 iPad carts, which equates to 8 iPads per class once every other week. I would like to increase our use of technology for our 21st century learners. With your help, our classroom will be able to have access to technology every day. This will improve their technological confidence and provide additional learning experiences for every child!
