Our world is fast paced and full of convenienc foods. In foods classes students learn to prepare foods from “scratch”which ch will serve them for a lifetime! The students use mixers almost daily. For several years I have purchased low priced mixers which don’t last long! I have had to modify lab choices based on equipment availability. Having quality equipment to work with in the kitchen is important. KitchenAid mixers are high quality and long lasting! I am in the process of setting up 6 kitchens in the space for 5 kitchens! We are in desperate need of equipment to expand to accommodate classes of 30+ students! It’s important to give students the opportunity to learn to prepare healthy foods.
