Money plays a critical role in our everyday lives! We use it in many of our daily activities. It's important for students to understand the need/use of money. Students need to understand the value of money. The need to know how to combine multiples of coins and bills together in order to make a purchase and that there are many ways to combine them together to get an accurate amount. Students also need to learn determine if the amount of change given back to them from a purchase is accurate.
